Well, New Zealand is nice, in a small town sort of way, but after ten years it just got too small for me. Plus, the idiots elected to Prime Minister a man who made his money doing dodgy investment schemes during the 80s -- good choice to lead the country through the GFC. So, I left.

I'm in a new country now. I've got a new job that's going well. Six month contract coming to an end and they're renewing me, promoting me, and giving me a raise -- not bad. I gave up on web programming and have moved on to end user support. I'm going to be focusing on the customer service and knowledge management sides of the business. In the end of three years I'll be able to say I've done this for the IT services of an entire State government.

So, where's my artwork? Well, all the confusion, moving, mental and emotional struggles, breakups, meetups, etc -- art has taken a back seat to it all. But settled in, happy, working, and confident, I'm getting back to my craft. Still reinstalling the library -- 79gig installed so far with about another 50gig to sort through still -- so almost ready to start again. Working on some concepts now but should see some basic stuff coming out soon as I remind myself how everything works
